Into the Wild
This project is actually very special to me. For this project I was a CDD (Camp Director and Documentarian), along with 3 other students. Being a CDD meant that we were excused from all of the specific project work that other students had to do, and instead documented the entire project and eventually (in the end) created a 30 minutes documentary showing what this whole project was about.
Requirements:
Overall I am very proud of the outcome of this project. I think that my efforts are very much reflected in the documentary (as well as all of the fun we had!). Overall the camping trip was super fun! Everyone got to bond, have fun, and just go crazy. All 3 days were really changing in the way where everyone was able to be with everyone, and meat new people. One of the things that made it so fun and exciting was when we made our meals on our soda can stoves because it was such a fun and new experience!

Requirements:
- One this we had to do that we were not excused from was creating a soda can stove to cook 3 of our meals on. We also had to write about the physics behind the stoves. The main physics that relate to them are conduction and convection, which are both process of creating heat! Conduction is when two object touch together, and heat is transfered between them. And like in the name of the process "conduction", the fast they touch each other the more heat is created. Convection is when a gas or liquid is heated, and it rises. For example, when you are cooking something on a stove, the heat makes the water closest to the burners in the pot get hot and start to rise, and when the hot water rises, the cooler water on the top lowers and then the process starts over again. To learn more about conduction and convection please feel free to download my tech-sheet below!
- We had to video tape and take pictures of students working and compile them into a final documentary.
